Turkey is considered an emerging country, or one of the world?

Turkey has a booming, economy, enormously steady tourism, Europeans relocating there. They are a secular government and still heavily Muslim. They also are the United States best NATO partner and we do joint exercises together militarily and share technology. Turkey also has become very respected in business by South American countries like Brasil.
