Why is it that Christians think the bible is a book full of love?

I've read the five books written by Moses and I know exactly what God has done. God is a god of love, but also one of justice. In the old testament, God ordered the death of many people because they were rebellious and disobedient. However, Jesus put an end to many rules of the old testament, such as animal sacrifices and killings of disobedient people. Jesus gave us a new opportunity. Jesus is the savior of humanity and the forgiver of sins. These days, God will let us do whatever we want. You can choose to live in obedience to God and have Christ in your life, or you can choose sin. Those are the only options.
