Is organized religion worth the heartache?

The real problem I think is that we are not all talking about the same "god". There is a God and then there is a god. One is real, the other(s) is/are man-made, this is what some of the fighting is from -people trying to force their opinions on others. The fighting is not good, and you must also realize that some of the fighting was not always about religion, sometimes that was just a cover. Now, from a Christian's perspective (who believe's we should love one another), the church is a way for us to get out and socialize with others who love God also, it is not a bad thing or an obligation, but a good/pleasant choice.
