Will Obama start his gun control agenda by following the "Australian Plan" of voluntary cash-for-guns first?

I think that it is so funny that people actually believe that by helping to ensure that guns don't fall into the wrong hands that crime is going to spike. The direct opposite will happen. No one is looking to take away access to guns...it's just that who wants the guy who shot up Virginia Tech or Columbine to have access to weapons?!?!
