Student nurse IV HELP!!!!?

I'm a student nurse in Fresno CA and my IV site rotation is coming up REAL soon. I really wanted to practice on my family members (suckers!!) but I don't know where I can find or buy needles. Does anyone have any ideas?? Also....anyone have any tips for a newbie IV starter???
