Engaged couple birth control question?

my husband and i are also in a monogamous relationship, and after i had our daughter (we were not using any birth control when i got pregnant with her) anyways after i had her we knew we wanted to wait to have more kids so i went on the pill and we used condoms for back up for like the first month or two...but that didn't last long...anyways i have been on the pill for two years and i haven't gotten pregnant yet...i also take my pill at the same time each day...i think it is pretty effective, but i do know that there is always a chance that i could get pregnant anyways...so if you are really worried then you should just continue using both...
